Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that the state has witnessed a comprehensive transformation in the healthcare sector over the past eight to nine years under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, driven by sustained policy reforms and continuous infrastructure development.

Addressing the gathering at the inauguration of UP Health Tech Conclave 1.0 at Clark Avadh, Lucknow, CM Yogi Adityanath said that the Uttar Pradesh government, working in close coordination with the Government of India, has focused on strengthening health infrastructure as a key pillar of governance. He noted that consistent efforts have been made to improve both the reach and quality of healthcare services across the state.
The Chief Minister highlighted that significant progress has been achieved in expanding medical infrastructure, including the construction of new medical colleges, district hospitals, and community health centres. He added that facilities in both urban and rural areas have been upgraded to ensure equitable access to healthcare services for all sections of society.
CM Yogi Adityanath also emphasised the growing role of technology in healthcare delivery. He said digital health initiatives, advanced diagnostic tools, telemedicine services, and health-tech innovations are helping bridge gaps in service delivery, particularly in remote and underserved regions of Uttar Pradesh.

Strengthening emergency response systems, improving maternal and child healthcare services, and enhancing disease surveillance mechanisms have been key priorities of the state government.
The UP Health Tech Conclave 1.0 served as a platform for policymakers, healthcare experts, technology providers, and industry stakeholders to deliberate on emerging trends, digital health solutions, and future strategies to further modernise Uttar Pradesh’s healthcare ecosystem. Discussions during the conclave focused on innovation, public-private partnerships, and technology-driven solutions to improve patient outcomes.
Reiterating the state government’s long-term vision, CM Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh aims to build a resilient, technology-enabled, and people-centric healthcare system. He added that continued collaboration between the Centre and the state will remain crucial in achieving sustainable improvements in public health and healthcare infrastructure.
The Chief Minister concluded by reaffirming the government’s commitment to ensuring accessible, quality, and affordable healthcare for every citizen of Uttar Pradesh, positioning health sector reform as a cornerstone of inclusive development.
