Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the national leader in connectivity, with 55 percent of India’s expressways located in the state, CM Yogi Adityanath said while addressing the Police Manthan Senior Police Officers’ Conference 2025 in Lucknow. The Chief Minister emphasized that Uttar Pradesh also boasts the country’s largest air connectivity network and the biggest rail network, making it a central hub for mobility, trade, and development.

CM Yogi Adityanath noted that strong road, rail, and air infrastructure not only accelerates economic growth but also plays a crucial role in effective policing, rapid response, and internal security management. He said improved connectivity has strengthened coordination between districts, reduced response time in emergencies, and enhanced overall law-and-order efficiency across the state.

Highlighting the broader vision of the government, the Chief Minister stated that large-scale infrastructure projects, including expressways and airports, are transforming Uttar Pradesh into a growth engine of New India. He added that seamless connectivity is attracting investment, generating employment, and ensuring balanced regional development, while simultaneously supporting modern, technology-driven policing.

CM Yogi Adityanath reaffirmed the government’s commitment to leveraging infrastructure and technology to make Uttar Pradesh safer, stronger, and more prosperous.
The Chief Minister further underlined that Uttar Pradesh’s rapid progress in connectivity is the result of focused governance, time-bound execution, and transparent planning. He said projects like Purvanchal, Bundelkhand, Agra–Lucknow, and Ganga Expressways have significantly reduced travel time, improved access to remote regions, and boosted economic activity in previously underserved areas.
CM Yogi Adityanath also pointed out that enhanced connectivity has strengthened disaster management and emergency services, enabling faster deployment of police, medical teams, and relief forces during critical situations. He added that better infrastructure has improved citizen confidence, tourism flow, and investor trust, positioning Uttar Pradesh as a preferred destination for industry and logistics.
