Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the new Uttar Pradesh has emerged as an inspiration for the entire nation — transforming through “Tourism to Transformation.” He highlighted how grand celebrations such as Ayodhya’s Deepotsav, Braj’s Rangotsav, and Kashi’s Dev Deepawali are strengthening the state’s cultural identity while driving economic growth and global recognition.

According to official figures, Uttar Pradesh has witnessed a phenomenal surge in tourism. In 2016, the state recorded 21.5 crore tourists, while by 2024, this number had jumped to 64.9 crore. The state’s share in national tourism has also risen from 13.1% in 2016 to 18.9% in 2023, making Uttar Pradesh one of the country’s leading tourist destinations.

Yogi Adityanath emphasized that this cultural resurgence marks the “Amrit Kaal of India’s heritage revival,” where faith turns into development, and development leads the nation toward the vision of a Vishwaguru Bharat. The Chief Minister reaffirmed his government’s commitment to promoting spiritual, eco, and heritage tourism while creating employment and sustainable growth opportunities across the state.
