Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is set to launch two major residential development projects of the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) — Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar — with a combined proposed investment of more than ₹12,000 crore.
The two housing schemes are being developed across approximately 10,680 acres and are aimed at expanding planned residential development in and around Lucknow. The projects are being presented by the Uttar Pradesh government as part of efforts to provide modern housing and improve urban infrastructure.
Registration Opens for Residential Plots: CM Yogi Adityanath
Online registration for residential plots under the two schemes is being opened on September 24, 2026. The LDA has confirmed that registration for Naimish Nagar and Varun Vihar will begin from 6 pm on the official portal.
According to LDA-related reports, Varun Vihar is spread across nearly 6,580 acres along the Agra Expressway near Mohan Road, while Naimish Nagar covers around 3,600 acres around IIM Road and Sitapur Road in Bakshi Ka Talab.
The first phase includes residential plots in both townships, with different reports putting the number of plots opened for registration at around 3,000 to more than 4,500 depending on the phase and scheme components.
Five Multi-Storey Apartment Projects
Alongside the two township schemes, the Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stones for five multi-storey apartment projects with a proposed combined cost of around ₹2,166 crore, according to the government announcement.
The projects include Park View Apartments in Basant Kunj, Lake View Apartments in Gomti Nagar, Vageshwari in Sharda Nagar Extension, Aditi in Anant Nagar and Aishbagh Square on Mill Road.
