Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh AI and Health Innovation Conference in Lucknow, marking a significant step towards integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with healthcare, skill development, and employment generation in the state. The conference highlights Uttar Pradesh’s growing focus on technology-driven governance and innovation-led development.

Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi Adityanath said that AI-based innovation is emerging as a strong foundation for transforming healthcare services in Uttar Pradesh. He emphasised that the use of advanced technologies like artificial intelligence can improve disease diagnosis, enhance treatment accuracy, and ensure timely healthcare delivery, especially in rural and semi-urban areas of the state.

The Chief Minister noted that Uttar Pradesh is steadily positioning itself as a hub for AI-driven solutions, not only in health but also in education, skill development, and employment. By promoting innovation ecosystems, the state aims to prepare its youth for future-ready jobs while strengthening public service delivery systems. He added that AI adoption would also help reduce healthcare costs and bridge gaps in access to quality medical facilities.
CM Yogi Adityanath further highlighted that such conferences provide a common platform for policymakers, healthcare professionals, technology experts, startups, and academic institutions to collaborate and share ideas. He stressed that innovation must be aligned with public welfare so that technological progress directly benefits citizens.
The Uttar Pradesh government, he said, is encouraging startups and private players to invest in AI-based healthcare solutions, creating new employment opportunities and boosting the state’s digital economy. Skill development programs are also being aligned with emerging technologies to ensure that young professionals are equipped with relevant expertise.
