Chairing the Magh Mela 2026 review meeting, the Chief Minister stressed that the event reflects the cultural soul of India along with the state’s capability to manage large-scale public gatherings.

Special emphasis was laid on crowd management, disaster preparedness and real-time monitoring to avoid any inconvenience to pilgrims.
Highlighting the national and international significance of the Magh Mela, the Chief Minister said that such events strengthen India’s cultural identity and present a positive image of Uttar Pradesh on the global stage. He noted that efficient planning and coordination among departments are essential to uphold the trust of millions of devotees who visit the Sangam every year.
