The CM instructed authorities to identify fake and unregistered agents operating across the state and ensure stringent legal action against them. He said such fraudulent practices not only exploit innocent citizens but also tarnish the state’s image.

Yogi Adityanath stressed that protecting the interests of youth and job seekers is a top priority of the government. He directed the administration to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and increase awareness so that people do not fall prey to illegal overseas placement rackets.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed that the Uttar Pradesh government is committed to transparent governance, public safety, and strict enforcement of law, ensuring justice for every affected citizen.

Officials have been instructed to coordinate with the police

Officials have been instructed to coordinate with the police, labour department, and district administrations to create a comprehensive database of authorised recruitment and travel agents. Regular verification drives will be conducted to prevent unregistered agents from operating illegally across districts.

The Chief Minister also directed that special helpline numbers and grievance redress mechanisms be strengthened so that victims can report cases without fear or delay. District Magistrates have been asked to personally monitor complaints related to overseas job fraud and ensure time-bound resolution.

Yogi Adityanath underlined that fraudulent agents often target youth from rural and semi-urban areas by making false promises of lucrative jobs abroad. He said awareness campaigns will be launched at the district and block levels to educate people about safe and legal channels for overseas employment.

The state government has reiterated that any official found negligent or complicit in such cases will also face strict disciplinary action. The administration aims to completely dismantle fake overseas recruitment networks and restore public trust through firm governance and decisive action.
