International Day of Non-Violence
Gandhi Jayanti is observed every year on October 2, which is also marked internationally as the International Day of Non-Violence.
The day commemorates Mahatma Gandhi’s contribution to non-violent resistance and serves as an occasion to promote the principles of peace and non-violence.
