On the sacred occasion of Mahashivratri, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath performed a traditional Rudrabhishek ritual at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur and prayed for the welfare of humanity. Sharing a Sanskrit verse in praise of Lord Shiva, the Chief Minister highlighted the spiritual significance of the festival, describing it as a celebration of discipline, devotion, and divine consciousness.

Temple authorities noted that elaborate arrangements were made to manage the steady flow of devotees who gathered since early morning to witness the rituals.
