CM Yogi Adityanath chaired a high-level review meeting to assess law and order arrangements in view of upcoming festivals and ongoing board examinations. Officials were directed to maintain heightened vigilance during occasions such as Holi, Ramzan, Eid, Navroz and Chaitra Navratri to ensure peace and communal harmony across the state.

The Chief Minister instructed authorities to take firm action against anyone attempting to disturb public order or social harmony, emphasizing that such steps should set a strong example. Police and district administrations were asked to increase patrolling, deploy additional forces in sensitive areas, and strengthen intelligence monitoring.
Focus on Students During Exam Season
Since festival celebrations coincide with examination schedules, officials were told to ensure smooth traffic management, control noise levels and regulate crowds so that students do not face inconvenience. Departments were directed to work in coordination to prevent disruptions near exam centres.
Priority on Peace and Coordination
The government reiterated that maintaining peace during festivals is a top priority in Uttar Pradesh. Authorities were asked to closely monitor social media platforms to curb rumours and misinformation, and to respond promptly to any situation that could affect public harmony.
District-Level Preparedness Measures
It was also decided that control rooms will remain active at district levels, rapid response teams will stay on standby, and local administrations will maintain continuous dialogue with community leaders. The aim is to resolve concerns proactively and ensure that celebrations and examinations proceed smoothly without any untoward incidents.
Officials informed the meeting that special security arrangements are being implemented in sensitive districts, with additional deployment of forces and surveillance teams. Senior officers have been instructed to remain on field duty and conduct regular inspections to ensure that directives are followed strictly on the ground. The Chief Minister also stressed inter-departmental coordination, directing health, transport, power and municipal departments to remain on alert so that essential services continue without interruption.
