The Uttar Pradesh government is set to give a major push to infrastructure, healthcare and public welfare in Sultanpur, with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 99 development projects worth over ₹819 crore in Sultanpur and Isauli Assembly constituencies.

According to the state government, the projects include the inauguration and foundation laying of a Government Medical College, road infrastructure works, administrative buildings and several other public development initiatives aimed at improving healthcare services, connectivity and civic infrastructure in the region.

During the programme, the Chief Minister will also distribute cheques and certificates to beneficiaries of various welfare schemes related to rural development, industries, labour and animal husbandry. The government said the initiative reflects its focus on ensuring that the benefits of development and welfare programmes reach citizens across the state.
The event is scheduled to take place on July 7 at the DIET Field in Sultanpur, where the Chief Minister is expected to address a public gathering and review the progress of development initiatives in the district.
The state government said the new projects are expected to strengthen healthcare facilities, improve transportation infrastructure and accelerate economic growth in Sultanpur. The establishment of a Government Medical College, in particular, is expected to enhance access to quality medical education and specialized healthcare services for residents of the region.
Officials said the investment is part of the government’s broader strategy to promote balanced regional development by expanding modern infrastructure and improving public services across Uttar Pradesh. The projects are also expected to generate employment opportunities during both the construction and operational phases.
The government stated that the development initiatives align with its vision of creating a self-reliant and prosperous Uttar Pradesh through improved healthcare, stronger infrastructure and the effective implementation of public welfare schemes.
