Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for 75 development projects worth approximately ₹294 crore in Balrampur, as part of the state government’s ongoing infrastructure and public welfare initiatives.

The projects cover a range of sectors, including road construction, irrigation strengthening, drinking water supply, education, and local body development. According to the government, the initiatives are aimed at improving both rural and urban infrastructure and accelerating socio-economic development in the district.
75 Development Projects Worth ₹294 Crore in Balrampur
The programme is scheduled to take place on June 5, 2026, at Gram Madhya Nagar (Biloha) in Tulsipur tehsil, Balrampur.
Among the projects to be inaugurated are road widening and strengthening works worth around ₹44 crore, a drinking water reorganization scheme for Pachpedwa Nagar Panchayat worth ₹29 crore, and the construction of the Farenda–Jarwal–Motipur road valued at approximately ₹14 crore. A transit hostel at Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Sekhuikalan is also included among the completed projects.
The foundation stone laying includes development works along the Rapti River and the construction of a cross regulator on the main canal, projects valued at around ₹30 crore. Additional projects include police housing and office facilities in Tulsipur and Pachpedwa, small bridges and connecting roads, and improved street lighting along major roads in Tulsipur Nagar Panchayat.
Officials said the projects are expected to enhance connectivity, improve civic amenities, strengthen irrigation infrastructure, and create better public facilities for residents. The government believes the investments will benefit farmers, students, and the wider community while contributing to Balrampur’s growth and development.
The event forms part of the state’s broader effort to expand infrastructure and public services across Uttar Pradesh through coordinated development initiatives.
