Speaking at the event, CM Yogi said that his government is committed to ensuring that no student in Uttar Pradesh is deprived of education due to financial constraints. He highlighted that unlike in the past, when students had to wait until February or March for their scholarship, this time the funds have been released ahead of Navratri, making it a historic step for student welfare.

Chief Minister stressed that education and youth empowerment are at the core of his government’s policies

The Chief Minister stressed that education and youth empowerment are at the core of his government’s policies. He added that scholarships, free digital resources, and better infrastructure in schools and colleges are laying the foundation for a strong Uttar Pradesh.

Officials confirmed that the scholarship distribution is part of a larger plan to support students belonging to economically weaker sections, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and minority communities. The initiative is expected to reduce dropout rates and encourage higher enrollment across the state.

The event also witnessed interactions with beneficiaries who expressed gratitude to the government, saying that the timely financial support will help them continue their studies without burdening their families.

With this move, the Yogi government has not only fulfilled its promise of transparent and corruption-free distribution of scholarships but has also set a benchmark by aligning the welfare scheme with important cultural and festive occasions, reinforcing its connect with the people.
