Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed the functioning and future plans of various police department units in Lucknow and announced a major recruitment drive for the financial year 2026–27.
The state government is preparing to fill more than 81,000 posts in the police department, a move aimed at strengthening law enforcement while creating significant employment opportunities for youth across the state.
