The upcoming budget is expected to focus on economic growth, infrastructure development, welfare schemes, employment generation, and strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s role as a major contributor to India’s economy.
In addition, the Economic Survey 2025–26 is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of Uttar Pradesh’s financial health, including trends in state GDP growth, revenue collection, capital expenditure, industrial expansion, agriculture performance, and employment generation. The survey will serve as a base document guiding the formulation and implementation of policies in the upcoming financial year.
