According to information highlighted by former senior bureaucrat Awanish K. Awasthi, the state has made significant progress in digitizing transport services, allowing citizens to access a wide range of facilities online without the need for physical visits to government offices.
Officials stated that more than 5.3 crore vehicles have been registered digitally across the state, while nearly 3 crore driving licences have been issued through streamlined administrative processes. Several transport-related services, including vehicle registration, licence-related procedures, tax payments, and appointment bookings, are now available through online platforms.
