Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reiterated the importance of protecting children’s rights and ensuring access to education, safety, and a dignified childhood on the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour.

In a public message, the Chief Minister emphasized that every child has the right to education, a secure environment, and opportunities to pursue their dreams. He stated that providing children with quality education and safeguarding their well-being is both a social responsibility and a national priority.

Highlighting the significance of child welfare in nation-building, Adityanath described children as the foundation of a developed India and a developed Uttar Pradesh. He called upon citizens and institutions to work collectively towards eliminating child labour and creating conditions that enable every child to learn, grow, and thrive.
The Chief Minister also urged society to remain committed to the protection of child rights and to ensure that children are provided with an environment of dignity, security, and equal opportunity. Officials noted that education, social protection measures, and awareness campaigns continue to play a crucial role in preventing child labour and promoting inclusive development.
The message coincides with global efforts to raise awareness about child labour and strengthen initiatives aimed at ensuring that children remain in schools and are protected from exploitation. The state government maintains that investments in education and child welfare are essential for building a skilled, empowered, and prosperous future generation.
