Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has shared a forward-looking message for the people of the state as India steps into the year 2026, highlighting technology, artificial intelligence (AI), data innovation and youth participation as key pillars of the state’s future growth. Reflecting on 2025, the Chief Minister said the year will be remembered for setting new benchmarks in technology, AI and data-driven innovation, with Uttar Pradesh emerging as a model of future-oriented development.
CM Yogi Adityanath’s Message for 2026
CM Yogi Adityanath stated that good governance in the state has strengthened “Brand UP” at the global level and transformed Uttar Pradesh into a trusted destination for investors. He emphasized that investment can remain secure only when society and the state are safe, adding that Uttar Pradesh’s improved law and order and administrative reforms have boosted investor confidence both nationally and internationally.
Technology, AI and Youth to Shape Uttar Pradesh’s Future
Highlighting major technology initiatives, the Chief Minister said preparations are underway to develop dedicated AI Cities in Lucknow and Noida. A ₹3,700 crore semiconductor manufacturing unit is being established in Jewar, while the state’s data centre policy, focused on secure and indigenous data infrastructure, is already showing positive results. Five hyperscale data centre parks have begun commercial operations, with a target of attracting ₹30,000 crore investment in the data centre sector. In addition, software technology parks have been set up in nine cities, and Uttar Pradesh is making rapid progress in drones, robotics and mobile manufacturing.
CM Yogi also underlined the government’s focus on skill development, noting that under the ‘AI Pragya’ initiative, 10 lakh citizens are being trained in artificial intelligence, generating thousands of new employment opportunities.
Calling upon the youth, CM Yogi Adityanath urged them to take a special pledge for 2026 by spreading computer and AI awareness among at least five children in their surroundings and dedicating one hour every week to “Gyaan Daan” (knowledge sharing). He said collective efforts by the government and citizens will not only help build a developed Uttar Pradesh but also position the state as a global hub of science and technology.
