CM Yogi: After the announcement of the Lok Sabha general elections, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be actively engaged in various districts through ‘Enlightened Citizen Conventions’ starting from Wednesday. Ahead of election rallies, CM Yogi will engage with enlightened individuals across different districts to discuss and present a comprehensive account of the government’s achievements. The initiation of these conventions by the Chief Minister is set to commence from Western Uttar Pradesh, where some phases of the elections are also scheduled to take place.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to Address ‘Enlightened Citizen Conventions’ in Mathura, Meerut, and Ghaziabad
CM Yogi is expected to engage in dialogue with people during these conventions to prepare the ground for the electoral commitment of ‘Once Again Modi Government’ before the elections. According to the program released by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi will cover 15 districts in 5 days from March 27 to 31.
The conventions will kick off on Wednesday, March 27, from Mathura, Meerut, and Ghaziabad. Alongside eminent personalities, CM Yogi will interact with the general public as well. On the following day, Thursday, March 28, CM Yogi is scheduled to participate in programs in Bijnor, Moradabad, and Amroha. On March 29, CM Yogi will be part of conventions in Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, and Saharanpur.
Furthermore, on March 30, conventions will be held in Baghpat, Bulandshahr, and Gautam Buddh Nagar, followed by events in Bareilly, Rampur, and Pilibhit on March 31. Through these conventions, CM Yogi intends to inform people about the achievements of the state government as well as the accomplishments of the central government. This move aligns with CM Yogi’s previous efforts in 2023 before the local body elections, which led to a sweeping victory for the BJP across all municipal corporations. Once again, through these ‘Enlightened Citizen Conventions,’ CM Yogi aims to embark on a mission of achieving a clean sweep in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Phases of Elections to Begin in Western Uttar Pradesh
The ‘Enlightened Citizen Conventions’ initiated by CM Yogi Adityanath are set to commence from Western Uttar Pradesh, coinciding with the initial phases of the elections in the region. The first phase, scheduled for April 19, 2024, will witness elections in Saharanpur, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Nagina, Moradabad, Rampur, and Pilibhit.
