Comparing the statistics from previous years, CM Yogi highlighted how Ayodhya has witnessed a historic rise in the number of visitors since the BJP came to power in Uttar Pradesh. He noted:
In 2016-17, when there was no BJP government in the state, only 2.35 lakh devotees visited Ayodhya.
In 2024, the number has skyrocketed to over 14 to 15 crore devotees.
The Chief Minister emphasized that this monumental increase reflects the deep spiritual connection people have with Lord Ram and the impact of the Ram Mandir construction on Ayodhya's religious tourism.
CM Yogi further stated that Ayodhya has undergone massive infrastructural and cultural transformations, making it more accessible to devotees worldwide. With the construction of the grand Ram Mandir, improved facilities, and better connectivity, Ayodhya has emerged as a global religious and cultural hub.
The viral video has sparked discussions online, with devotees expressing their gratitude for the temple's completion and the state government's efforts in preserving and promoting Ayodhya's spiritual legacy.
