Emergency Medical Plan Rolled Out for Kanwar Yatra 2025 in Gautam Buddh Nagar

With the holy month of Sawan underway, the Uttar Pradesh Health Department has intensified preparations to ensure emergency medical support for Shiv devotees (Kanwariyas) participating in the Kanwar Yatra 2025. Acting on the directives of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Narendra Kumar, the department has established eight designated ambulance points across key routes in Gautam Buddh Nagar district.

Ambulance Points and Round-the-Clock Deployment

According to Jitendra Sisodia, in-charge of the 102 ambulance service, ambulances will be stationed at:

Badalpur

Dadri

Jewar

Sector-62

Mamura Bus Stop

Sector-114 Shani Temple

DND Flyover

Kherli Canal

Each ambulance will be staffed with drivers and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in two to three shifts to ensure continuous service. All ambulances are GPS-tracked through the JPIS system, and are equipped with the necessary medical supplies.

Safety Measures and Record Keeping

One staff member will be specifically assigned to maintain records of accidental injuries and medical emergencies during the Yatra. The Health Department has issued clear instructions to ensure no negligence or disorder occurs while dealing with Kanwariyas.

Rapid Response and Control Room Coordination

Dr. Narendra Kumar and ACMO Dr. Jaishlal have instructed that in case of any injury or medical emergency, ambulance teams must respond immediately after receiving alerts from the control room. Drivers have been directed to report at their assigned points on time without delay, and EMTs have been told to prioritize patient safety and maintain order.

The emergency plan reflects the administration's commitment to safeguarding the well-being of lakhs of devotees expected to pass through the district. The enhanced deployment is part of a broader strategy to ensure a safe, seamless, and spiritually fulfilling Kanwar Yatra this year. 

To ensure the safety and well-being of Kanwariyas during the ongoing Kanwar Yatra 2025, the Health Department of Uttar Pradesh has deployed 102 ambulance services at eight strategic locations across Gautam Buddh Nagar, including Badalpur, Dadri, Jewar, Sector-62, Mamura Bus Stop, Sector-114 Shani Temple, DND Flyover, and Kherli Canal.
