According to reports, Mohan, a 30-year-old software engineer, recorded a video just hours before his death, detailing how domestic pressure and emotional torture from his wife left him with no way out. In the video, now being widely shared, he appeals for justice and says he tried everything to make the marriage work, but his efforts were met with manipulation and greed.
In the video, Mohan speaks about the emotional burden he carried, from constant taunts to financial demands. He accuses his wife of exploiting his love and turning his life into a daily struggle. With a heavy voice and tears in his eyes, Mohan says, "मैंने सब कुछ दिया, लेकिन वो सिर्फ लेती गई…।" His words have struck a deep chord with viewers across the country.
Mohan’s grieving family has demanded a thorough investigation, alleging that the mental harassment and threats from his wife were ongoing. Police officials have taken cognizance of the video and initiated an inquiry. No arrests have been made yet, but authorities have hinted that Section 306 (abetment to suicide) could be invoked after reviewing evidence.
This case adds to the growing concern over mental health issues among men in strained marriages, and the lack of support systems to address emotional abuse they may face
