Lucknow News: First requirement for good governance is the rule of law says Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a big statement on Monday, calling the 'rule of law' the first condition for good governance. He said that in the last six years, Uttar Pradesh Police has established 'rule of law' by making the state crime-free, riot-free and anarchy-free.

Chief Minister Yogi addressed the ceremony on Monday evening after inaugurating the state-of-the-art and high-tech administrative building of Gorakhnath police station and AIIMS police station. He said that the zero tolerance policy of zero tolerance under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the result that today Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the best investment destination. Rs 17.10 crore has been spent on the construction of the building of Gorakshanath police station and Rs 5.42 crore has been spent on the construction of the newly created AIIMS police station.

At the inauguration ceremony of both the police station buildings from the Gorakhnath police station premises, the Chief Minister said, "When every citizen and every businessman is safe, then only the rule of law comes into force.

The Chief Minister said, “Today in Uttar Pradesh all festivals and festivals are celebrated in a peaceful manner and there is no place for anarchy. The festivals of Bakrid, Ram Navami and Eid were completed in such a peaceful manner. There was no disturbance anywhere.''

Taunt on the governments of the opposition parties

He said, “The rule of law becomes the medium of change in the life of the common man, creates an environment for investment. Due to the excellent security environment, Uttar Pradesh has received investment proposals worth Rs 36 lakh crore. When these proposals will come to the ground, one crore youth will also get jobs.

Taking a jibe at the governments of the previous opposition parties, the Chief Minister said, “In the last six years, the Uttar Pradesh Police has played an important role in changing the perception of the people towards the state. Earlier, when the police itself was not safe, then what was the point of the security of businessmen and common citizens. Six years back, anarchy and hooliganism was at its peak in the state."
