Former BSP minister Yakub Qureshi and his son were arrested by the Meerut police. Yakub Qureshi and his family were absconding for the last 9 months in illegal meat plant operations. After which Yakub and his son Imran, now carrying a prize of Rs 50,000, have been arrested from Chandni Mahal police station area of Delhi.
On March 31, 2021, the police raided Yakub Qureshi’s factory Alpine Meetex Private Limited and revealed a big racket. Meat plant was being operated illegally in Al Faheem Meatex Private Limited. Bad meat was being packed and sent abroad. Police recovered meat worth crores from the factory.
After which a case was filed against 14 people including Yakub Qureshi and his family. In this case, 10 people were arrested at the same time, while Yakub and family fled.
Property worth crores has been attached
The police filed a case against this family under the Gangster Act and attached property worth crores. After which a reward of 25000 and now 50000 was declared on Yakub Qureshi. Yakub and his son Imran Qureshi were absconding for the last 9 months. Police has so far attached property worth crores of Yakub Qureshi and his family under the Gangster Act. After which he has now been arrested from Chandni Mahal police station area of Delhi. At present, the police is interrogating him by keeping him in custody. It is believed that SSP Meerut Rohit Sajwan is preparing to make a big disclosure in this matter.
