DON'T MISS
The CEO was accompanied by Hapur DM Abhishek Pandey, Meerut DM Dr. VK Singh, UPDA Chief Engineer RK Chaudhary and Nodal Officer Mohit Pathak along with the entire revenue and police department teams. It was remarked by officials that only finishing touches like installing signboards remain.
Superfast Travel For Pilgrims
The opening of the expressway would significantly cut down the distance between Prayagraj and Western Uttar Pradesh. This would benefit millions of devotees who travel for Kumbh and Sangam baths to Prayagraj. It would also help litigants and lawyers travelling from and to the districts of Western UP for High Court work. The Ganga Expressway would reduce the entire journey from 10-12 hours to 6-7 hours.
Ganga Expressway-Beneficiary Regions
The Ganga Expressway would pass through several districts and regions, including Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Hardoi, Badaun, Shahjahanpur and Unnao before reaching Prayagraj. It is believed by industry analysts that the expressway would open countless to industrial development, job creation and commercial real estate while also serving as an economic bridge between western and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
At its core, the expressway would be more than just another transport corridor. It would also act as an economic catalyst that would reduce logistics costs, reduce travel time and link rural areas to urban and global markets. For instance, districts such as Hapur and Bulandshahr would connect faster with Delhi-NCR and major trade hubs (both domestically and internationally), encouraging businesses to expand or relocate.
