Ghaziabad News: Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) showcased its ambitious plans before Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during his visit, underlining the city’s pivotal role in shaping the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat – Viksit Uttar Pradesh 2047.’
The presentation highlighted key projects, including the Harnandipuram Residential Scheme, Industrial Township, Sports City, and Theme-Based Parks. These initiatives aim to create a sustainable, modern, and inclusive Ghaziabad aligned with the broader roadmap of Uttar Pradesh’s growth.
Urban Development with a Future Outlook
Officials from GDA explained that the Harnandipuram Residential Scheme will provide well-planned housing with modern amenities, while the Industrial Township is expected to attract major investments, boost manufacturing, and create large-scale employment opportunities.
The proposed Sports City will focus on promoting sports infrastructure and nurturing talent, helping Ghaziabad emerge as a regional hub for athletics and recreation. Meanwhile, the theme-based parks will combine innovation with environmental sustainability, providing healthier spaces for families and future generations.
CM Yogi Adityanath’s Emphasis
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appreciated GDA’s vision, stating that Ghaziabad must serve as a model city as Uttar Pradesh moves towards becoming a leading contributor to India’s economic growth. He emphasised that such urban development projects reflect the state’s commitment to balancing industrial progress with housing, sports, and green infrastructure.
Towards 2047
The roadmap aligns with the central government’s vision of a developed India by 2047, the centenary of independence. Ghaziabad’s strategic location as the gateway to Uttar Pradesh from Delhi makes it a crucial node in this transformation, bridging NCR’s resources with the state’s aspirations.
With GDA’s plans gaining momentum and the Chief Minister’s backing, Ghaziabad is set to strengthen its role in driving both regional and national development goals.
