Ghaziabad News: Parking Dispute in Ghaziabad Escalates into Physical Assault, Victim Suffers Injuries

Ghaziabad News: In the city of Ghaziabad, a parking disagreement within a housing society turned violent, resulting in a physical altercation where a person was severely beaten by two men late at night. The incident, captured on surveillance footage, unfolded in Indirapuram’s Abhay Khand.

Incident Details

The altercation began as a man, identified as Kamal, in a black car stopped his vehicle while another individual was parking a blue car between two others. Kamal, wearing a blue shirt, approached the driver, leading to a confrontation. Another person, dressed in a black t-shirt, gestured toward Kamal’s car, possibly indicating for him to remain inside. Tensions escalated, and the situation turned physical, with both parties exchanging punches.

The driver of the blue car joined in, landing punches and kicks on Kamal. Subsequently, both attackers pinned Kamal to the ground, inflicting severe injuries. A woman holding a baby attempted to intervene but stepped back as the assault continued. Kamal sustained injuries to his face and claimed he was struck with an iron object, causing continuous bleeding from his ear.

Intervention and Aftermath

Bystanders rushed to the scene to intervene and stop the assault. Kamal, with his shirt torn and covered in bloodstains, eventually stood up, discarded his shirt on a car, and walked away from the confrontation. He identified the alleged attackers as Nikhil Rawat and Nitin, residents of the same society.

Previous Incident

This incident follows a similar parking-related altercation last month in Ghaziabad, where a person lost his life after being hit by an SUV during a parking dispute in Modinagar town on New Year’s Eve. The driver of the SUV, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, struck and dragged the victim for about 100 meters. The earlier incident raised concerns over the escalating confrontations arising from parking disputes in the region.
