Ghaziabad Schools Closed, Traffic Restrictions in Place for PM Modi's Visit

Ghaziabad News: Schools in Ghaziabad will remain closed on October 20 due to the forthcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The local administration has instructed schools to conduct online classes on October 20. This decision has been taken in light of the Prime Minister’s visit to inaugurate India’s first RapidX train project, which has been renamed as “Namo Bharat.”

Students and parents are advised to contact their respective schools for confirmation regarding the online classes. The schools will communicate this information to parents through their internal communication channels. This step has been taken to ensure that students do not suffer academic setbacks during this special event.

Prime Minister’s schedule of activities

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Ghaziabad on Friday morning at 10:00 AM at Hindan Airport. From there, between 11:15 AM and 11:50 AM, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the first Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor. Prime Minister Modi will wave the green flag for the Rapid Transit System at the Sahibabad station. Following this, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, he will address a public gathering at the Avas Vikas Maidan.

Traffic Advisory for PM Narendra Modi’s Ghaziabad Visit

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ghaziabad, the district administration has issued a traffic advisory. Vehicles heading to Sahibabad’s Namo Bharat Station and the public gathering site at Vasundhara will have to take a different route. From 7 AM on Friday, vehicle entry will be restricted from Mohan Nagar to Sahibabad and from Kaushambi to Sahibabad. The restrictions will remain in place throughout the program.

Appeal from Ghaziabad MP

Ghaziabad’s Member of Parliament and former General V.K. Singh has issued a video appeal encouraging as many people as possible to attend the Prime Minister’s public gathering. The event will mark the inauguration of the Rapid Transit System, and General V.K. Singh’s appeal aims to boost attendance at this significant occasion.
