District authorities have implemented Graded Response Action Plan Stage-4 to combat the poor air quality

Ghaziabad News: In response to severe pollution levels in the National Capital Region, schools in Ghaziabad and Noida have suspended physical classes for nursery to 9th-grade students until November 10.

All of the district’s schools are subjected to the orders. It is urged that parents and students take notice of this and get in touch with the schools for the latest timetable. Some Noida private schools went to hybrid mode and some curtailed outside activities before the government made its statement.

Graded Response Action Plan Stage-4 implemented:

District authorities have implemented Graded Response Action Plan Stage-4 to combat the poor air quality, and all offline classes have been replaced with online instruction during this period. This decision aligns with a broader move in the region, with Delhi’s schools also closing temporarily due to worsening air quality.

SC ask Punjab government to stop stubble burning:

The situations in the nation’s capital have been dubbed a “complete murder of the health of people” by the Supreme Court, which on Tuesday ordered Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan to cease stubble burning immediately. As the typical blame game over pollution in Delhi-NCR began, the top court noted that there cannot always be a political struggle. The bench also questioned whether the Delhi government’s odd-even programme, which is set to begin on November 13, has ever produced a result because it was unclear what it was.

The Delhi government paused on odd-even after the court’s ruling and did not make the expected announcement of the rules. Gopal Rai, the environment minister for Delhi, stated that the government would review the Supreme Court’s ruling and include it in the plan.
