Jan Arogya Yojana: UP Government Launches New Health Scheme

Jan Arogya Yojana: In Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister has also launched Jan Arogya Yojana for the people. Under this scheme, the registered workers of the unorganized sector and their families get the facility of cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. This means that they can get free treatment.

The objective of this scheme is to provide financial health security to the working class. People of this class are not able to get proper treatment due to lack of money. In such a situation, this scheme will prove to be very beneficial for them.

This is a special plan. Economically weak people have been included in this scheme. Its purpose is to provide them free health care. In this scheme, the beneficiary gets insurance up to Rs 5 lakh. The government aims to take this scheme to more than 10 crore families.

Benefits of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana

Middle class and economically weak people can join this scheme. The Uttar Pradesh government will give the benefit of this scheme to more than 10 crore families. Any person who joins this scheme can get treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in a year. Along with the government hospital, many private hospitals are also included in this scheme. Through this scheme, people get the facility of getting free treatment. 40 lakh families in UP are included in the Antyodaya ration card. All of them will be included in this scheme. For this, the state government has made a budget of Rs 102 crore. That is, the government will invest this much amount in this scheme. All those families who have not got the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana even this person will be included in this scheme.
