Ahmad remarked that he had the desire to build a Radha-Krishna temple for about three to four decades. Ahmad added that he would sit in the temple and recite the Ramayana once the temple is built.

To fulfill this wish, Ahmad has embarked on Bageshwar Dham pilgrimage where he would meet Pandit Dhirendra Shastri.

In a now viral video, Ahmad Khan could be seen wearing a Muslim cap, saffron robes, a Ramayana on his head and a garland around the neck. Ahmad was welcomed warmly by the villagers and people bid farewell to him amid auspicious songs and drumbeats, demonstrating the support of the Hindu community for his initiative.

Many believe that Ahmad Khan could face the same fate as Saleem Wastik, an ex-Muslim who was recently stabbed by radical Islamists near home in Loni, Uttar Pradesh. Wastik has long questioned orthodox Islamic ideas for a while now. Loni ACP Siddharth Gautam remarked that a call was received from the neighbour of Wastik that the YouTuber was lying in a pool of blood in his house-cum-office.
