Kanpur Lamborghini Accident: Lawyer Comes to Culprit’s Rescue, Denies Businessman Son’s Presence

Kanpur Lamborghini Accident: A luxury Lamborghini Revuelto struck pedestrians and vehicles on VIP Road in Kanpur, causing injuries to many people. The Lamborghini is worth over ₹10 crore, and it creates a public outcry and continues to be investigated by the police after having been involved in this incident yesterday afternoon.

The Crash That Shook Kanpur

According to witness accounts, a Lamborghini ran over a motorcycle and numerous bystanders while traveling at a high rate of speed in a busy area before crashing into a telephone pole or similar object. The entire event would have looked like an absolute disaster for all involved, with the Lamborghini being the largest unit of destruction.

Legal Defense: Denial of Son Behind the Wheel

In response to escalating public rage and increasingly overwhelming evidence, including video evidence, the attorney representing Shivam Mishra, son of tobacco tycoon K.K. Mishra made an outrageous assertion: that his client was not operating the Lamborghini when it crashed. His assertion is that Shivam had appointed another person to be the designated driver and that therefore the crash was only an accident and that his client could not be held liable for the incident in any way.

Police Statement and Footage

Contrary to the lawyer’s statement, police sources and video footage appear to show Shivam being pulled from the driver’s seat by bouncers present at the scene. Authorities also noted that his private security intervened, triggering criticism that influence was being used to protect the accused.

Public Reaction and Ongoing Inquiry

The incident has sparked a wider debate on road safety, accountability, and the perception of VIP justice for affluent individuals. Police have seized the vehicle and are continuing the investigation, with charges and further legal proceedings expected.
