The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has announced another major step toward fulfilling the dream of affordable housing for the economically weaker section (EWS) and lower income group (LIG). Under this new initiative, LDA is set to launch fresh housing units in Omaxe Residency and Amaravati IT City, giving thousands of families a chance to secure a home of their own.
Affordable Housing Push for EWS & LIG Families in Lucknow
According to the authority, essential development work inside both townships has already begun. This includes:
- Electric substations
- Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
- Parks and green zones
The rapid progress reflects LDA’s commitment to delivering modern, well-planned residential spaces equipped with basic urban infrastructure. The initiative also aligns with the state government’s broader vision of ‘Housing for All’, aiming to uplift urban living standards while ensuring inclusivity.
Officials noted that the upcoming projects will not only benefit EWS and LIG applicants but will also support balanced city development, offering secure, sustainable, and accessible housing solutions in key urban locations.
With Lucknow witnessing continuous expansion, these new housing opportunities mark a significant milestone in urban governance and people-centric development.
