Lucknow News: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has unveiled its ambitious Varun Vihar housing and development project, which promises to transform the city’s urban landscape. Spread across a vast area, the scheme will offer more than 15,000 residential, commercial, and group housing plots, along with world-class infrastructure facilities.
Logistic Park and Connectivity
A 300-acre logistic park and transport hub will be developed under the project, directly connected to the Agra Expressway and Kisan Path. Authorities say this will not only strengthen the region’s logistics and transport facilities but also create new employment opportunities while offering residential benefits to a large population.
Modern Urban Planning
According to LDA Vice-Chairman Prathamesh Kumar, the project will feature 25 planned sectors designed on international standards, including grid-based roads, underground cable lines, and smooth traffic provisions. An Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) is also part of the plan to enhance connectivity.
Green Spaces and Recreation
The Varun Vihar scheme will dedicate nearly 800 acres to green belts, parks, and water bodies, ensuring an eco-friendly balance. The highlights include an international-level golf course and a central park, giving the city a fresh identity in terms of sustainable urban design.
Land Development Underway
During an inspection visit, LDA Vice-Chairman Prathamesh Kumar instructed officials to accelerate the land acquisition and development process. He also held meetings with engineers and interacted directly with farmers in Dona village, assuring them of fair engagement in the project.
With its mix of housing, commercial spaces, green belts, and modern infrastructure, the Varun Vihar project is expected to reshape Lucknow’s real estate and development scenario in the coming years.
