Meerut News: Unique Initiative by the Indian Medical Association for patient care

Meerut News: The Indian Medical Association’s Meerut branch has undertaken a unique initiative for patient care. Doctors from the Indian Medical Association will provide free consultations for a whole year upon a mere ₹10 registration fee. The program commenced on Sunday.

Patients Treated:

A total of 25 patients, including Imran from Shyam Nagar, Kalu from Mansurpur, Vinod Kumar from Sharma Smarak, Raju from Budhana Gate, Ravindra from Poultry Farm, Mohan from Kheda Saradhna, and Sandhya from Shiv Shankar Puri Sharda Road, were attended to. Most patients presented with symptoms of viral fever, cough, and cold, while two patients sought advice related to plastic surgery.

Outpatient Department (OPD) Treatment Provided:

On the first day, General Physician Dr. Vikas Garg, Dermatology Specialist Dr. Aarti Jain, and Plastic Surgeon Dr. Sandeep Kansal managed the OPD cases. Dr. Sandeep Jain, the President of IMA, stated that free OPD services would be available from 9 AM to 11 AM daily. Initially, patients need to pay ₹10 as registration fees, and a card will be issued. This card will serve as a pass for free consultations for 365 days.

IMA Secretary Dr. Tarun Goyal, along with Dr. Ajay Goyal, Dr. Manish Agrawal, Dr. JV Chikara, Dr. Sanjay Goyal, Dr. Nishi Goyal, Dr. Archana Goyal, Dr. MK Bansal, Dr. Satish Arora, Dr. Pradeep Tyagi, Dr. Pallavi Agrawal, and Dr. Bindu Agrawal, were present and appreciated the initiative.
