On the directions of Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) Shri Atul Garg, a meeting was convened in the presence of Member (Ops), ED (Ops), representatives from airlines, Indian Air Force (IAF), and other key stakeholders to discuss the possibilities of connecting Hindon Airport with Lucknow, Prayagraj and other destinations in Uttar Pradesh.
Hon’ble MP Shri Atul Garg was warmly welcomed and greeted by the participants. Addressing the forum, he highlighted the strategic importance of Hindon Airport and shared that he has been receiving numerous requests from the public for initiating direct flight connectivity between Hindon, Lucknow, Prayagraj and other destinations in UP.
During the discussions, Member (Operations) assured the Hon’ble MP that all airport infrastructure-related issues will be addressed at the earliest in close coordination with the IAF. Representatives of the airlines present in the meeting assured that they would actively explore the feasibility of operating flights from Hindon Airport to Lucknow, Prayagraj and other destinations in UP.
The meeting concluded with a joint commitment to work towards strengthening air connectivity and enhancing passenger convenience in the Uttar Pradesh.
