The bodies of two Dalit minor girls have been found in a sugarcane field from Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh. The incident is of Nighasan Kotwali area. It is being told that both the deceased girls are real sisters. Their body was found hanging from a tree in a sugarcane field. At the same time, on receiving information about the incident, the police immediately reached the spot and started investigating the cause of the incident. The bike riders are suspected to be behind the incident, who are being accused of kidnapping and hanging minor girls from their homes.
In this case of suspicious death of two real sisters in Lakhimpur, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar has taken cognizance. He told that officers have been sent to Lakhimpur for investigation. The post-mortem of the dead bodies is being done and videography of the post-mortem is being done.
In protest against this incident, the local villagers demonstrated by blocking the road at Nighasan intersection. Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Suman and Additional Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh reached the spot along with a large number of police forces and assured the angry villagers of appropriate action.
Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Congress tried to surround the state government on this issue.
