The viral video is making the netizens applaud loudly for the swift and strong action of the UP police. But they are also demanding immediate punishment for the accused for his shameful deed.

After the arrest on August 4, Adil Saifi was seen apologising for his shameful deed in front of the police officers. The video, as shared by the News 24 channel on their X handle, shows Adil holding one ear while lying on a hospital bed after the encounter.
The accused man was fleeing from the police as they tried to capture him and was injured by a bullet in one leg. He is accused of sexually assaulting a woman, and thus the police were chasing him. The police have also collected an illegal firearm, some cartridges, and a motorcycle without a number plate from Saifi.

Adil Saifi is a hospital nursing staff member in Moradabad, UP. On August 3, Adil was seen in CCTV footage sexually assaulting a burqa-clad woman by pressing her breasts. The incident happened at the Nagphani area, and the police were hunting for him. On August 4, he was captured by the police in the encounter and will now be redirected to the court for charges of sexual harassment and possessing illegal arms.
Public Reactions to the Viral Incident
The public is undoubtedly happy with the swift action of the police in arresting him. They are appreciating the encounter, saying, “Sahi ilaaj hua hai“. Some are even suggesting an actual encounter to kill such culprits then and there. They say, “don’t know why shot in leg…seedhe full encounter karn chahiye…Mahila ki izzat nahi karne waalo koi haq nahi hai zinda rehna ka“.
People are widely appreciating the action of the UP police by saying, “No one can escape from Uttar Pradesh police after a crime“. They are saluting the quick and stern action of the police, saying “Appreciate the work done by @moradabadpolice salute“.
While some are pointing out that women in a fully covered burqa are also not safe. They mock the conservative ideology by saying “Burkhe m mominae surakshit hai” and demand strict action against him by claiming, “Saria ke hisab se saja do esko“.
UP police definitely deserve appreciation for taking immediate action against such street molesters. Clearly, the dress of the woman does not provoke their already provocative mind. The dramatic apology of the man in the viral video only shows that his lust-sick, oppressive mentality only stands in front of the oppressed women.
