Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued a strong warning against elements attempting to divide the nation, asserting that India will not tolerate any force that seeks to create communal discord. Yogi emphasized that the nation’s unity and integrity are paramount and that the sacrifices of freedom fighters must not be forgotten. He urged citizens to remain vigilant against political groups or individuals who promote separatist ideologies for their own gain.

Chief Minister’s remarks come amid growing political tensions

The Chief Minister’s remarks come amid growing political tensions in several states, where debates around religious identity and nationalism have resurfaced. Yogi reiterated that the BJP government stands for ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’, ensuring development for all without discrimination.

He concluded by reminding the public that the state’s youth and citizens must work together to preserve peace and harmony, saying, “India’s strength lies in its unity. We must ensure that no one succeeds in dividing us again.”

Yogi Adityanath further highlighted that the ideology of “appeasement politics” has no place in the new India. He said that for decades, political parties have divided society for votes, weakening the nation’s social fabric. “Those who once glorified Jinnah and his divisive mindset are now trying to repeat history in different forms,” he remarked, stressing that the country must stay alert to such attempts.

The Chief Minister added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has worked tirelessly to strengthen national security, boost infrastructure, and promote a sense of shared nationalism among citizens. He mentioned that the state’s development journey — from improved law and order to major investments — reflects the vision of a united and progressive India.

Yogi also urged educational institutions to promote the spirit of nationalism and social harmony. “Schools and universities should not become breeding grounds for divisive ideologies,” he said. “Instead, they should inspire students to contribute positively to the nation’s growth and unity.”

Addressing the youth directly, the CM encouraged them to draw inspiration from leaders like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Bhagat Singh, who stood for India’s unity and integrity. “We need more builders of the nation, not breakers,” Yogi asserted.
