Noida News: Noida Police has arrested four people in the GST Fraud case. Out of the four, two suspects were found carrying 21 sim cards with a Biometric Machine. These four have been arrested in connection with the alleged 10,000 crore GST fraud case. The suspects were arrested in Rohini and they were found involved in illegal activities such as providing sim cards and fake invoice bills to the gang. Under the alleged operation, thousands of companies were registered under fake identities. These companies or firms used to generate E-Bills and acquire Input tax credit from the government. During the investigation, the police has exposed 2,660 fake companies and taken eight suspects into custody. The suspects have been identified as Gaurav Singhal, Gurmeet Singh, both hailed from Delhi. Other suspects are Rajiv and Rahul Gupta, both from the Gautam Buddh nagar area. Rahul and Rajiv were carrying 21 sim cards and a biometric machine.

Accused taken into custody, probe underway
According to the cops, Rajiv was involved in the fake activation of sim cards. He also used to run a shop in Phase-2 Noida, where he used to sell these cards. When people used to come to his shop to buy sim cards, he used to take their thumb impression and later sell it to Rahul for 500 Rupees. All the suspects have been charged under section of Forgery, cheating and criminal conspiracy under the Indian Penal Code. They were presented before the court and taken into custody. Further investigation in the case is underway.
