Noida News: In a new initiative by the district administration, parents in Gautam Budh Nagar can now receive birth certificates for their newborns immediately after delivery. The initiative aims to streamline the process and enhance efficiency, allowing parents to obtain essential documents promptly. The move aligns with the government’s commitment to integrating digital technology into birth registration systems, simplifying procedures for families. Birth certificates are crucial for various official purposes, serving as proof of identity, age, and Indian citizenship.
Immediate Issuance at Government Health Facilities
Government health facilities, including the Community Health Centre (CHC) Dadri, CHC Bisrakh, and the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) in Greater Noida, have started issuing birth certificates immediately after delivery. The initiative aims to eliminate the need for parents to apply separately, making the process more convenient.
District Health Department’s Role
The certificates are issued by the district health department at various government health facilities. The district administration has directed the implementation of this process to ensure a hassle-free experience for parents, making the issuance prompt and efficient.
Objective of the Initiative
The chief medical officer of Gautam Budh Nagar, Dr. Sunil Sharma, highlighted that the introduction of on-the-spot birth certificates is intended to provide a seamless experience for parents. This initiative will be extended to all government healthcare facilities and hospitals in the district, starting with CHC Bisrakh and CHC Dadri.
This step reflects ongoing efforts to leverage technology and simplify administrative processes, aligning with the broader digitalization initiatives in governance.
