Noida News: With the Bharat Bandh already underway following the call by farmers’ unions, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police in Noida have implemented measures to manage potential disruptions. Anticipating increased activity due to the protests, they have enforced CrPC Section 144, which restricts unauthorized public gatherings.

Traffic Diversions Implemented

To ensure smooth traffic flow amidst the ongoing protests, alternative routes have been designated for commuters:

  1. 130-Meter Road Route: If you’re traveling towards Pari Chowk via Depot Roundabout, expect rerouting through Supertech Roundabout, Honda CL Chowk, and IFS Villa Roundabout.
  2. Surajpur Route: For commuters heading from Surajpur to Pari Chowk, the recommended route is via Expomart Roundabout, Knowledge Park, and LG Roundabout.
  3. Expressway Route: Vehicles on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway bound for Pari Chowk will be diverted via Knowledge Park/Expomart Roundabout and Hindon Cut/Galgotia Cut.
  4. Kasna Route: Traveling from Kasna to Pari Chowk towards Surajpur? Follow the route via the 130-meter road and Supertech Roundabout from Honda CL Chowk.
  5. Delhi-Bound Routes: Different entry points to Delhi have alternative routes suggested, such as Sector 14A flyover, Filmcity flyover, or Mahamaya flyover.
  6. Chilla Border to Delhi: Opt for the route via Sector 14A flyover, Golchakkar Chowk, Sector 15, Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk, and Jhundpura Chowk.
  7. DND Border to Delhi: Take the elevated route via Filmcity flyover and Sector 18.
  8. Kalindi Border to Delhi: Use the Mahamaya flyover to Sector 37.
  9. Yamuna Expressway to Delhi: Exit at Jewar Toll towards Khurja and reach Delhi via Jahangirpur.
  10. Sirsa, Pari Chowk to Delhi: After leaving the Peripheral Expressway, reach Delhi via Dadri and Dasna instead of exiting at Sirsa.

Enforcement of Section 144

In adherence to CrPC Section 144, gatherings of five or more individuals, unauthorized processions, or demonstrations are prohibited. Additionally, possession of weapons and the use of private drones within a one-kilometer radius of government establishments are restricted.

Intensive Checking and Metro Advisory

To maintain security and regulate movement, intensive checking is conducted at all borders between Noida and Delhi. Commuters are advised to utilize the metro rail service to minimize inconvenience caused by potential traffic disruptions.
