Noida Police Equip Force with Body Cameras for Enhanced Transparency and Accountability

In an effort to enhance transparency and accountability in policing, the Noida Police force has been equipped with body cameras. The Police Commissioner, Laxmi Singh, announced the allocation of 507 body-worn cameras to all 26 police stations and the traffic department in the district. Each police station will receive a minimum of four body-worn cameras, designated for different focus teams, while all 116 police response vehicles will also be equipped with one each. The move aims to deter misbehavior with police personnel, promote accountability, and facilitate evidence-based policing.
