The placement drive is open for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and the interested candidates can apply until January 18. Dr. Himanshu Pandey, the Placement Head, informed that Vipro HR Services is offering job positions for Customer Service Representatives with an annual package of INR 3.08 lakhs. The drive is open for students with qualifications such as BA, BCom, BCA, BBA, BHM, and BSc.

In a separate incident, a complaint has been filed against a teacher at Lucknow University accusing them of financial irregularities. The complaint has been registered on the Prime Minister and Chief Minister portals. The Vice-Chancellor of Lucknow University has written to the Secretary for further action regarding the complaint filed by the High Court advocate Pradeep Kumar on November 29, 2023. The allegation suggests embezzlement in affiliation fees, collected in the name of teacher approvals. The Vice-Chancellor, Alok Kumar Rai, has stated that the complaint lacks supporting documents, affidavits, and incomplete identification of the complainant. He emphasized the need for accurate details for appropriate action to be taken.
