As PM Modi reached the venue, the atmosphere resonated with applause and patriotic fervour. Ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit, elaborate security arrangements were put in place. To ensure smooth movement and avoid traffic congestion, the administration implemented traffic diversions from Wednesday midnight, which remained in force till the conclusion of the programme. Key routes leading to the venue were closely monitored, and additional police forces were deployed across sensitive zones.

During his address, PM Modi spoke at length about Dr B.R. Ambedkar’s legacy, alleging that attempts were made in the past to erase his contributions. He accused the Congress leadership in Delhi and the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh of undermining Baba Saheb’s legacy, while asserting that the BJP safeguarded and honoured his vision. The Prime Minister highlighted that today, from Delhi to London, the Panchteerth associated with Dr Ambedkar stand as symbols of respect for his ideals.

The Prime Minister also reflected on post-independence political culture, stating that for decades, a tendency prevailed where every major achievement was credited to a single family—be it books, government schemes, institutions, or public landmarks. He said India is now moving away from this outdated mindset and freeing itself from the culture of political monopolisation.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, addressing the gathering, said the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal would serve as a source of inspiration for future generations, promoting values of good governance, national service, and democratic commitment. He described the inauguration as a proud moment for Uttar Pradesh and the nation.

The event is being seen as politically and culturally significant, marking a strong emphasis on national heritage, leadership legacy, and ideological clarity ahead of key political milestones.
