Ram Mandir Ayodhya: 44-ft Iron Flag Pole for Ram Temple Arrives in Ayodhya Ahead of Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

The 44-ft-high iron flag pole destined for the 161-ft-high peak of the Ram temple reached Ayodhya on Monday, marking a significant step towards the completion of the revered religious structure. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel had ceremonially flagged off the vehicle carrying the flag pole in Ahmedabad on January 5. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attach religious flags to the pole, is scheduled for January 22, as confirmed by the temple trust.

Manufacturing and Permissions:
The iron flag pole, manufactured by L&T with permission from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, was produced by Ambika Engineering Company of Ahmedabad over a period of nine months.

Symbolic Gesture:
The arrival of the flag pole is a symbolic moment in the construction of the Ram temple, and the subsequent Pran Pratishtha ceremony holds religious significance for the followers. The involvement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the ceremony adds to the significance of the event.
