In a momentous occasion set to unfold on Monday, January 22, 2024, the sacred Pran Pratistha Yoga for Lord Shri Ramlala is scheduled to take place on Paush Shukla Kurm Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2080. Classical Methods and Pre-Ceremony Traditions
Following age-old traditions, the Pran Pratistha ceremony will adhere to classical rituals during the Abhijeet Muhurta. Commencing on January 16, 2024, the pre-ceremony rituals will continue until January 21, 2024, encompassing a series of significant events like Atonement, Karmakuti worship, entry of the statue, pilgrimage worship, and various other spiritual activities.
Adhivas Process and Acharya
With seven adhivas typically involved in the prana pratistha ceremony, a minimum of three will be observed. Overseeing these intricate processes will be 121 Acharyas, with Shri Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid leading and coordinating the rituals. Shri Laxmikant Dixit of Kashi has been appointed as the Chief Acharya.
