Renowned sculptor Arun Yogiraj from Karnataka has crafted the idol of 'Ram Lalla,' selected for the grand temple in Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the temple on January 22 during the 'pran pratishtha' ceremony at 12:20 pm. Arun's family expresses joy, and his mother shares her happiness, while Arun's wife, Vijeta, expresses pride in her husband's achievement.

A Proud Moment for Arun's Family

Arun's mother shares her excitement, calling it the happiest moment for the entire family. She expresses regret for not witnessing the sculpting process but looks forward to attending the installation ceremony. Arun's wife, Vijeta, echoes the sentiment, expressing pride in her husband's work and dedication.

Selection Process and Sculptors

The selection process involved voting on three idols of Lord Ram Lalla, with sculptors Ganesh Bhatt and Arun Yogiraj from Karnataka, along with Satya Narayan Pandey from Rajasthan. The idols, crafted based on a sketch by renowned artist Vasudeo Kamath, showcase distinct styles using black stones and white Makrana marble.

Ram Temple Consecration Details

Scheduled for January 22, 2024, the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla at the sanctum-sanctorum of the Ram Temple holds immense significance. Vedic priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi will lead the main rituals. The Amrit Mahautsav in Ayodhya, from January 14 to January 22, will precede the grand event, featuring a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya.
