In view of the winter, a holiday has been declared till January 14 in the schools of all the boards from classes 1 to 8 in the capital. District Basic Education Officer Arun Kumar has issued an order in this regard. At the same time, classes 9 to 12 will be studied in schools from 10 am to 2 pm from Monday.

District School Inspector Rakesh Kumar Pandey said that in view of the extreme cold, instructions have been given to conduct teaching work from 10 am to 2 pm in all the schools of all boards from class 9 to 12 till January 14. At the same time, primary and junior high school classes affiliated to Intermediate College will not run during this period. Action will be taken if any school violates the order.

Study will be online

Many private schools in Lucknow are continuing to conduct online classes in view of the cold wave. CMS spokesperson Rishi Khanna said that online classes are being conducted for children due to school holidays in Sheetlahar. The children who have been ordered to open schools will come to school and study. Rest of the children will be taught online. At the same time, Richa Khanna, Principal of Vardan International, told that the study material for online teaching is ready in the school. If the holiday continues after January 14 due to cold wave, then online classes will be conducted.
