In 2017, the unemployment rate in Uttar Pradesh stood at over 19 percent. Today, that figure has dropped significantly to around 3 percent — a testament to the government’s continuous focus on job creation, industrial development, and skill enhancement programs.
The state’s double-engine government has been instrumental in providing more than 8.5 lakh government jobs, alongside fostering private sector employment through major investments, startup promotion, and the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative.
